What is Ferrowmist?

Ferrowmist is a collaborative living-world campaign set in Caldrath, a world shaped by chaos, refined by its people, and recently torn asunder by war. Within those corrupted battlefields, called ferrows, dark secrets, hidden treasure, and land up for grabs await those brave enough to seize it. Beyond the ferrows, the untouched cities vie for power and influence in the vacuum the war left behind.

Drawing on living-world campaigns, West Marches play, and MMO structure, Ferrowmist is built to be one of the first true MMO-TTRPGs: sessions happen at the table, on a VTT, or anywhere in between, while your characters, spoils, and the world's lore live online. Instead of a single static party, many groups adventure in the same timeline, and their choices ripple outward through a shared, evolving world.

From the Chronicle of Caldrath

Season I: Ashes of War

Let it be entered into the record: the ferrows stir, and the Season of Ashes is upon us. What the tables decide, the Chronicle keeps. What the Chronicle keeps, the world becomes.

The keep at the crossing stands unbroken.

Amended at season's end: fallen, so the tables decreed.

Canon

Every season, the Chronicle is amended by the outcomes of real games. No single table writes it. Every table does.

Made for both sides of the screen

For players

  • Play at the table, on a VTT, or anywhere in between.
  • Your character doesn't sleep between games: manage your sheet, spend hard-won coin, earn achievements.
  • Dig through Caldrath's growing lore whenever the mood strikes.

For Game Masters

  • Fresh adventures, locations, and lore every season.
  • The official realm is canon, not law: run it straight, cherry-pick, or let your Caldrath diverge entirely.
  • However your table plays it, its outcome helps write the next season.
